Asia’s largest spacetech conference, the Global Space and Technology Convention (GSTC), organised by Singapore Space & Technology Ltd February 15-16 welcomed a Hungarian delegation as well, including the representative of Remred Space Technologies, a Hungarian space engineering company.
The event was officially opened by S Iswaran, Minister for Transport and in charge of Trade Relations and Mr Jonathan Hung, Executive Chairman of Singapore Space & Technology Ltd. Both of them highlighted that international partnerships have become even more important to maintain Singapore’s global status as spacetech hub.
Hungarian Ambassador Judit Pach had the privilege to have a short exchange of views with Minister Iswaran and Executive Chairman Hung and briefly touched upon areas of space collaboration between Singapore and Hungary.
Throughout the event, exceptional global leaders in the space industry talked about their initiatives in driving innovation and disruptive tech trends, providing a great platform to share more about Hungary’s rich space heritage and our flagship projects as well. These include the new space strategy, the national astronaut program and the recently enrolled space engineering master degree program.
